The EagleVision system is actually pretty straight forward, and have the advantage they brought the camera closer to the barrel to avoid it sticking out.
Based on their 98 quids light splitter module, you can 3D print a GoPro holder, best part from what I see in the pictures, its a large aperture mount on the light splitter, looks like you can literally plop a diopter in a filter frame onto the splitter, that will get you focus without changing anything to the GoPro..
However using the GoPro as a wide-angle camera will get you only a tiny little dot of scope image in the center of the video, thats really the reason for changing the lens to something like a 5mm lens to have a tighter crop and let the scope image fill the frame.
Changing the lens is easier done in the GoPro 3 and GoPro 4 units where you can pretty much unscrew the lens and just screw a new one in. 5-6-7 is a bit more complex but not impossible. I would look for a inexpensive 3 or 4 silver (which have the screen) online.
