use same prism as the SideShot but can be mounted to any scope! No special mounts needed. can do GoPro and cell phones.

Eagle vision has also come out with one, with options for the degree of light splitting caused by the prism- 50:50 or 25:75 for better video but dimmer sight picture. Go pro housing going to be available soon. I do wish the gopro lens replacement was more comprehensively explained or maybe available on their respective sites. Even better would be a built in macro lens to prevent the need to mess with your gopro and ruin it's versatility.

The EagleVision system is actually pretty straight forward, and have the advantage they brought the camera closer to the barrel to avoid it sticking out.

Based on their 98 quids light splitter module, you can 3D print a GoPro holder, best part from what I see in the pictures, its a large aperture mount on the light splitter, looks like you can literally plop a diopter in a filter frame onto the splitter, that will get you focus without changing anything to the GoPro..

However using the GoPro as a wide-angle camera will get you only a tiny little dot of scope image in the center of the video, thats really the reason for changing the lens to something like a 5mm lens to have a tighter crop and let the scope image fill the frame.
Changing the lens is easier done in the GoPro 3 and GoPro 4 units where you can pretty much unscrew the lens and just screw a new one in. 5-6-7 is a bit more complex but not impossible. I would look for a inexpensive 3 or 4 silver (which have the screen) online.

The reason I like the PhoneSkope model is that their mounting system can work on any scope.
My SWFA scopes require a larger mounts then my other scopes, that's why I never got an Eaglevision. But I really like their mounting system.

That's a good point. I have a scope that has a particularly large ocular bell - wonder if it would be a problem...
