Please help me welcome Ken Hicks & Southern Precision Air Weapons.
Ken is a 47-year-old father of 6. He started shooting airguns at age 8 & still has his Daisy 880 Powerline.
Ken started competitively shooting in 2012 when he joined a local AG club that shot 25m. His first PCP was an AirForce Condor SS modified for BR. In 2016 he purchased a RAW BM500 and started winning matches… lots of matches.
Ken is currently ranked #1 nationally by USARB in outdoor heavy varmint class. He has over 20 first place wins in 2016/2017. He also traveled to Slovenia for the European World Cup with Team USA and had a great experience. In 2019 Ken will be traveling to South Africa for the 25m World Cup.
In 2017 Ken attended the Extreme Benchrest competition where he took the gold in 25m BR (746-34x out of 750-75x), and set a new EBR record. While in Arizona Martin Rutterford (RAW) encouraged him to start his own business. Shortly thereafter Ken traveled to the RAW headquarters in Minor Hill Tennessee where he received training on their products.
With the support of his lovely wife, Southern Precision Air Weapons LLC was established in 2017.
SPAW is certified to sell, service & tune all RAW products, and recently partnered with Daystate, Brocock, MTC, and Aztec as well. SPAW has a 120-yard USARB sanctioned range where you can test their products before your purchase. Or if you don’t live near Florida you may be able to catch them traveling cross country in their new mobile showroom & repair facility – the SPAW mobile! Look for them at all the major events.
