You may ask what’s that got to do with airguns? Good question. Penchetta Pen & Knife is a full-service man’s store. We only sell things we like, and use daily. And we LIKE airguns!

Being a small business proprietor for the past 20 years, Anthony started out as a pen store. I always used & collected fine pens, preferably fountain pens. Then I started making my own line of pens under the Penchetta name. We now stock over 1000 pens from 30 different companies around the world, and are considered the premier pen store in the southwest.

We started in the wet shaving business because I was bored making pens and started making our own shaving brush line, which led us to wet shaving accessories. With nice soaps & creams from Italy & England. Also going back to double edge safety razors for a much better shave with a great cost savings as well.

Knives have always been a passion of mine and deciding to branch out with new lines in the store has led us to one of the finest cutlery shops in Arizona. With the largest selection of USA & Italian made knives in town.

Now how do we get to airguns? Well during the .22 ammo shortage years back it become hard and expensive to shoot .22 competitively, not to mention just plinking. So, I pulled out my old break barrels and started falling in love with them again. Then I discovered PCP’s and went to the dark side (you guys know the story). About 7 years ago we added airguns and accessories in the store. It all blends together very nicely. Knife guys love guns, gun guys love knives and unfortunately most of us shave and those of us that are old enough still know how to write!

I’m also active in our airgun club at Rio Solado shooting range. This may ring a bell as it is the range where Extreme Benchrest is held, not to mention the 2018 USARB Nationals & 2017 AAFTA Nationals. So we have a very active airgun community. I try and shoot all fundamentals of airguns. 10M, benchrest, field target, & silhouette. I compete with PCP and springers.

Despite our quaint little store, we still manage to cram in a good selection of airguns, pellets, scopes, and other accessories that customers can actually see & handle without having to drool over a computer screen.

We are an authorized dealer of some great product lines including: FX, Daystate, Accu-Tac, Eagle Vision, Hawke, & Athlon to name a few.

So, if you are ever in North Scottsdale, Arizona, please stop in and say hello, we look forward to providing you a relaxing and enjoyable shopping experience. Oh, we do sell on the net as well.

I want to thank Penchetta for recognizing air gun silencers as just that, "NOT A FIREARM" and selling them to us so we could install them our selves !!! none of us wanted permeate glued on silencers , and none of us cared to pay 2 shipping cost labor and cost of a "cold air " air gun silencer. and risk damage to our prize air guns, YOU guys had the guts and common sense to sell us "air gun silencers" "non fire arm" silencers . and we all thank you for that!!! right on guys!

Looks like my favorite store!!! Can you please tell me what gun that is in the last picture very middle , under the do not touch sign? The Lil short one!

It’s a FX Wildcat laminate, MK1

Thanks for the welcome. Look forward to seeing some of you at EBR this year. I will also be at the Arizona field target championship and Grand Prix match in Sept. plenty of time for you guys to sign up for that match. It’s in the cool pines of northern Arizona put on by the Arizona Airgunners club, great annual event. https://www.airgunnersofarizona.org/calendar.html

I will have to go by this place. Im in Chandler AZ so im not to far. Funny you brought up the whole .22 shortage years back. Same reason I got into airguns. Yeah, ammo became a real issue when trying to get some. I remember seeing lines of people waiting for the trucks to unload at Wally World. Also was the same at sportsmans warehouse but they were far more organized to handle the masses. People were buying up everything. Sad thing is a good chunk of the guys were reselling the stuff at insane prices.
