Please give a warm welcome to H&N Sport!
A business for packaging in the beginning, the roots of Haender & Natermann Sport GmbH (short “H&N Sport”) go back as far as 1825. In 1847 Carl Georg August Natermann acquired a former fortified tower in his hometown and modified it to a shot tower – the ammunition business was founded! Apart from lead shot target shooting bullets were manufactured since the 1890s. In the 1950s, H&N started manufacturing a wide range of different caliber airgun pellets in different calibers, and for the most diverse and challenging applications in hunting and target shooting, in addition to bullets for reloading and round balls for muzzle-loaders.
Carl Georg August Natermann, the “father” of H&N Sport, had a major goal: to manufacture products with outstanding quality. We continue his legacy in controlling every step of manufacturing our products – from toolmaking to wire production to surface finishing – at our factory in Hann. Muenden. Everything we make is subjected to a rigorous quality assurance system. You can be certain that what you buy is the best it can be – approved by August Natermann and 100% Made in Germany. Production is carried out exclusively on our own purpose-built machinery.
H&N Sport has developed some of the most exciting product innovations in past years, such as copper and plastic coated bullets for reloading, hollow point pellets with brass tip (H&N Hornet), hollow pointed pellets with predetermined breaking points for controlled mushrooming (H&N Barracuda Hunter Extreme and H&N Terminator), and completely lead free pellets like the H&N Barracuda Green, H&N Field Target Trophy Green and H&N Match Green. Of course, all these developments are done in close cooperation with leading weapon manufacturers from all over the world.
H&N Sport supports many events, teams and competitive shooters in their quest for world-class results. These include for example 12 teams from the two Federal Leagues pistol and rifle, or the centerfire handgun factory team of Korth. At national and international championships, we offer shooters an ammunition test in which the guns of the shooters are tested with different production lots - of course with the aid of a state-of-the-art electronic evaluation program.
All H&N pellets and bullets offer ambitious competitive marksman, airgun hunters and hobby shooters the perfect combination of excellent quality, performance, and price. And they’re just plain fun to shoot!
