This is under the compressor recommendation post.
I need everyone to know David is not just some guy.

I'm selling a few things and taking a break from the forum.
My children need me more than any loyal or potential customers. More than any newbie.

If you really want to understand why I'm leaving, watch, "The Social Dilemma," on Netflix. Best Documentary on by far & wide.

I'd been debating on leaving due to the negativity and unfriendliness for awhile. I just happened upon "The Social Dilemma" last night.
I highly suggest you all watch it.
Then throw away your phones and TV's. Just kidding, but consider it. You'll understand if you watch the documentary.

There's simply no possible way I can be a great Daddy while trying to be a respected seller of any items. My own airguns, scopes, etc. let alone represent Alkin.

I'm thankful David is here. He can help with any & all questions on Alkin Compressors.

I don't mind helping those who have my #, email, or PM me. I'm not throwing my phone away. I'm just done posting publicly & I can't ever be on it in front of my 3 & 9 year old children. Serve & Response psych thing.

Sorry friends. I never was trying to be a provider. Leaving doesn't make anyone the winners. It makes me a better Daddy.
I thank you all. Even the negatives. I learn from everything.

Be safe, shoot straight. Love & Respect.

Good write up, JamesD. Sometimes we have to do what’s best. I for one wish I could take back some years so if given those years over I would’ve chosen to hang with my son more rather than work all those hours, at work climbing the career ladder, and on my house remodeling every spare minute I had.

i remember at my sons 8th grade graduation a techy parent handed all the parents a dvd with photos of all the events from kindergarten to 8th grade.

field trips, social gatherings, ice cream parties, all that stuff.

I saw all the pics of the class trips to Yosemite, to Disneyland, etc, etc. while looking at all these pics I saw every parent that belonged to my sons classmates in those pics. There was one missing, guess who?

we should start a new tread on the other topics forum, called most hated song ever, and for me it’s “Cats in the Cradle”.

Youre doing a good thing, JamesD. I can almost say a lot of parents would envy you for what you’re able to do. The Airguns will be there along with all of us later on. Your kids won’t, meaning after a certain age Daddy JamesD is not cool enough for them to hang with, know what I mean?

Be good, brother
