"Good" is subjective. Inexpensive in this sport does not fly either. There is no free lunch, you get what you pay for. If you do not want to waste money, list your specific requirements and then ask what gun meets these specs at the lowest cost.

I don't think I could make it any clearer than the first post. Are you sure I can't get the very best for $100 or have someone pay me to take their product?

I was in the same boat last year. Needed a gun for my brother-in-law to shoot. He’s not a bullpup fan and I also didn’t feel like training him to obsess over a bubble level because the scope is a mile above the bore. I wound up buying a Kral Jumbo. I chopped the barrel because it will never need all that barrel length for pellets and I installed a reg. After a couple more refinements like a SSG, carbon bottle and lightening the hammer, I won’t give the gun up. I love it. Makes me want a Crown. So comfortable and easy to shoot.

Artemis P15 is a very nice small bullpop and it's extremely light. I love to hunt with it over my impact for small game and close targets. The differences between it and the p35, the p35 has weaver scope rail, front side lever and is around 500g heavier. The p15 has 11mm scope rail, rear side lever it's a copy of kalibrgun cricket's side lever and it weighs around 2.1kg. If you value light weight more than go for p15.

This will be a gift for one of my adult sons. We're all large guys so a little weight doesn't matter. Thanks for the descriptions, I like all the recommendations so far.

Wait till a used 22 unregulated Brocock Bantam HiLite shows up seen them in the $475-$525 range. They shoot great unregulated. ASK @airngasman he posted that he shot his at 100 yards with good results.

My unregulated Bantams are more accurate than my more expensive Huma Regulated Bantam Sniper HRs too. It is what it is and I own a crapload of these in at least quadruplets to try to find a regulated one that is more accurate than my unregulated ones. No such luck yet.
