Tom has reported in his blog that Edith is in ICU with Guillain Barre Syndrome. He says the next 48 hours are very critical. Please keep Edith and Tom in your prayers.

A friend's son went through Guillain Barre Syndrome when he was only 4 years old. Scary stuff. The good news is that he recovered fully. I'm hoping for the same for Tom's wife.

Best wishes and prayers for a full recovery. I got GBS 28 years ago and was able to get a 50% return in my recovery. My motor nerves were affected and was paralized from the neck down and then slowly got back the ability to move everything again, but with limited mucle strenth. Again all my prayers are with the Gaylords and please look up GBS/CIDP Foundation International for a great support group
