Please any advice on where to get air tanks filled in Bend Oregon ?

$240 shipped, lifetime warranty I've been using mine to fill a 75cu/ft tank for years with zero problems. I run it through a big water separating filter and then into the tank. Link is just for reference, I've never dealt with this seller. "lifetime warranty" may have a different meaning in chinese.

Most volunteer fire departments will fill a tank. Take a can of coffee. Make friends. Find new shooters.

Remember that if you expect the FD to fill your tank that you will need to take the correct adapter.

Bend had at least one dive shop - you might try there. Beautiful area, but isolated.

I live in Prineville, 45 miles east of you, I have lived here off and on for years. I never could find a place to fill my guns. I doubt the BFD will fill it either due to civil concerns.

I recently bought a Altaros Booster that I use to fill my tanks, it is slow though. I used Shoebox compressors for years, but that road is a dead end now.

My daughter and her husband have 80 scuba tanks and the franchise for the Hyatt and other hotels on Maui. Although they can’t help you, I will ask them if they know of a dive shop in Bend.

I texted my daughter, she said there is a dive shop in Bend, I will get you an address and pm you later, she is working right now.


Google says there is one on at 157 ne Greenwood ave, phone is 541-388-3660. However I will double check that for you when I call her.

Maybe try a smaller town fire dpt and go in and ask if they would consider refilling your air tank for you because you can't locate anywhere else. Thank them for their service as a first responder, and be super nice and I bet they say bring it over. When you show up, might be a good idea to bring a pizza or breakfast sandwiches or something to thank them.. you make friends with them and you'll have a fill source any time you need it and I would guess someone on that dpt will catch wind of why you are wanting the air and you'll have a shooting buddy or two as well. 

This of course is assuming you have a SCBA and aren't shooting big bore and needing several takes every day... if you have another tank or a valve that's not a normal cga347 then you'll need to take an adapter with you as well. 

I would think a major city FD would say no due to city liability reasons, just a guess tho.
