i generally dont like dovetail and all my rifles have picatinny. its easier for me to swap scopes because i dont have a scope for every rifle
this is now an attempt with a low profile picatinny rail. the rail is from umarex and made for the walther rm8 / air magnum
the 4 small stop pins are not perfect for a springer and i secured the rail with loctite! it should be not a problem to heat up the aluminium rail and remove it.
the fitment was perfect tight with my rail on my lgu - no slackness. i moved the rail agains the end cap / trigger housing. this is good because it cant move any more backwards.
to slide it on you have to remove the end cap / whole trigger housing but this is really easy. remove the two pins with a punch and pull the unit out of the main action - done. no parts can fall apart.
i coult not find the rail on the umarex website so here is a link to to krale webstore
