Picatinny mount help

Assuming there is nothing mounted to your rifle's stock already.. 
Is there a front swivel/sling-stud? I personally always go with UTG HD Recon 360 bipods
that use picatinny / weaver mounts. They also included something called a 
'swivel stud to picatinny/weaver mount / adapter'. 
I just got a P15, and only wanted to drill 1 hole in the stock, so, 
instead of mounting a mini pic rail like I usually do, I mounted a swivel stud, 
and I used that adapter with great success! Here's what they look like:

PS: This is the 1st time I've heard of the "Versa Pod Mount", 
so when I looked them up on Amazon, they actually had a 6 customer full 5 star review..

Oh! Okay, I completely missed that version mount.. 
Thanks for the link, and the explanation.. This system makes perfect sense now. 
Bummer, that above options wouldn't even be close to working..

And judging by the reviews in the link you posted, I'm not too sure of that one either..
Then again, there was the lone-reviewer who said that he had good luck with his..

I'm sure others will chime in with some other ideas / options..

Sam, on that style you posted, how does one connect a standard sling stud bipod to that set up? Usually when you tighten up on the thumb wheel, the base of the bipod draws upward, clasps into the stud, and the base settles in flat to the underside of the stock. With that pic rail combo, how does that work?
