I wanted to post up pics of HeavyImpacts handiwork. He sure did a fantastic job in meeting my requirements. I wanted a bottle clamp that clamped further in as close to the Bully’s stock as possible, but the clamp I had gotten from the UK was made for 61.5mm which fit perfect, but Hatsan embossed their logo on the bottle that added thickness to the circumference. Plus, the overseas one came with a 5 lug, 4 space picatinny, which made my adapter to bipod stud mount offset, which bugged me. James was able to build this as a 6 lug, 5 space, and wider to snug up tight at midpoint. He did a fantastic job.

For anyone with concerns about using a bottle clamp as a bipod attachment, fear not. Those folks overseas have been doing it for a long time, as I have PCP hunting books that show their use, and those clamps that they use are bought from Best Fittings. Personally, I don’t like that style, as it clamps on like a Diesel engine intercooler hose clamp, with a stud welded to it, and it just looks like there is a possibility to over tighten.

HeavyImpacts clamps have accessory pic rails on the sides. I have a QD sling mount on the left, and the right side is saved for a night torch.

big thanks again to HeavyImpact!

The biggest issue is the limited clearance between the bottle and shroud. On the Crown the clearance is just slightly greater than 1mm or .0394". It is hard to get plastic of any variety to be strong enough at that clearance and the clamp must not touch the shroud..........good luck!!

Customer says no problem.

There isn’t a day that goes by that I admire that bottle clamp. Even hoisted up the rifle with a sling, and feels stout. Still haven’t tried slinging it up real world, like trekking thru the woods. Main reason I’ve got the sling attached to the bottle clamp isn’t for carry purposes, but mainly for a sling assisting in steadiness if holding the rifle while aiming for a shot.

I designed a new version that will look neater on FX Crowns. Side rails have been deleted but but I still make both versions.

Also upgraded my machine for cleaner results. These are printed in 30% carbon fiber material which required a hardened steel nozzle.
