Picatinny Clamp For 480cc Carbon Fiber Bottles

I saw a similar item in another thread and decided to design and print my own. I've been through many iterations and settled on this one.

6 lugs matching the spacing on my Impact. The Atlas bipod attaches dead center. The bottle gets a little bigger towards the receiver and the center of the label is about as far back as the clamp can go without putting too much stress on the part. Sorry about the bad lighting, this is just a quick and dirty show and tell. With the resolution and density these take about 8 hours to print. I'll try printing one in ABS for a matte finish like my wika gauge covers.

I only print ABS and I print at a medium speed. When I print solid i print at 90-95% as I use a 15% overlap that prevents it from swelling on my printer. If you like send me SLT file and ill rip a fast one out to see the quality. I print a standard 1mm shell for this i will print 10% in fill 0% overhang for support and fast as a prototype for visual.

I appreciate your offer and I thank you but I'd rather work it out on my own. When I get it down pat and have a few on the shelf I may sell some to make pocket change... if there's any interest in them.

The biggest issue is the limited clearance between the bottle and shroud. On the Crown the clearance is just slightly greater than 1mm or .0394". It is hard to get plastic of any variety to be strong enough at that clearance and the clamp must not touch the shroud..........good luck!!

That's what it is and should work on a crown with no problems. Spreading the load over 49mm. I wouldn't lift a truck with it but I don't see a bipod being a problem.

I agree, but not for a shoulder strap.

It's a good idea if you want a flashlight or battery pack attached.
Seems like the bottle is quite strong on my Impact, but I wouldn't trust the bipod connected to it. If that thing gets dinged or something around the hole of the block get messed up you'd have to buy a new Impact...

Probably better off with the Utah Airguns clip on extension or the Kraford and Lypt trigger guard.
