Picatinny adapter for dovetail rails

Have had several UTG products and the screw breaks off or not threaded properly and strips out in one use. Of course they work when you get a good one! PCP airguns are fairly new to me as I have been a firearm guy my entire life. On our long range rifles the professional bases are $150.00 to $400.00 depending on the brand and if rings are included. A good rifle is $2500.00 + (w/cut-rifled barrel) ; just like the great air rifles here. Bugbuster was fine on my 1st airgun ($500.00) but I would not use it on a Daystate or EdGun.

I was also wondering why the Airgun scope bases are not offered in increasing MOA slants, now that longer range is the thing. I have heard that some rifles come with them, but none that I have owned. I am invested in picattiny with all firearms so of course I would want compatibility.

Don't have a clue because I have no use for large, heavy "thumpers", however the UTG adapters do work well on my HW springers that do this with other mounts, even when the base screws are excessively torqued. The UTG adapters are cheap at less than $15 (doesn't cost a lot to try) unlike the $56.95 + shipping I paid for the BKL one piece mount and the $35.95 + shipping I paid for a two piece set of BKL mounts, both which are sitting on a work table (not on a springer)...........

One piece BKL mounts (no stop pin) can also slide on my HW dovetails after the base screws are torqued 5in/lbs tighter than the BKL recommended 35in/lbs...........
