Hummmm.....I use these UTG adapters on my HW95 and R9 and they do work well, Single piece base, stop pins, well made, works better than the BKL one piece mount I used for a while. Inexpensive and all that's needed is a set of suitable Weaver/Picatinny rings.....................

Vector Optics 30mm Tactical rings (only about $10)...........

Adapter with 1" tube scope & rings. The combination below is pretty cheap with the adapter costing about $13 and the rings costing under $10 at a "Wally Mart" (less than $25 for adapter and rings). I do wish the Weaver Quad Lock rings came in 30mm but only 1" size........

Hummm........a while back I tried a set of short adapters of similar geometry and they didn't clamp properly to the round receivers of my HW springers. How would these adapt to a round HW95 receiver dovetail? Seems that they would have the similar "round receiver clearance issues". Also, even if they would fit a round receiver, it doesn't appear that these adapters have "stop pins" so I would question the "holding ability" since I had issues with one piece BKL mounts slipping on my receivers. Anywhoo......these do look interesting IF they would work with a round receiver and would stay in place................

I am using both the UTG and the Eagle Vision rail adaptors.

I would buy them again. 👍🏼

🔶The UTG is super sturdy, definitely springer worthy.

🔶The Eagle Vision is incredible low, so for those of us who like to mount their scopes low....

However, mounting the Eagle Vision adaptor on both a Skyhawk/ P15 and a PP700, I had a problem: When I mounted my scope mounts and started clamping them down onto the rail adaptor, the outsides of the rail adaptor's two halves started to rise ever so slightly to form a letter V instead of being level with each other.

The pics below show this.

The FIX: I put a thin wire between the two halves. When clamping down the scope mounts the wire prevented the halves to move together too closely. See pic.

there are two sizes of eagle vision, if you have the wrong size it will do as you described, also, the little grubscrews are for location purposes, the scope mount does the clamping

Bucketboy,

very interesting! I ordered directly from the company in the UK. But I don't remember seeing two sizes to choose from....

Enlighten me!

Matthias

One is for 11mm dovetail, the other is for 13mm, looking at your picture I think you have the 11 and you are trying to fit it to a 13.

I have no affiliation with eagle vision but have fitted a couple of their adaptor rails and have read on other forums about the two sizes.

Bucketboy,

you are of course right.

There are two different types of the Dovetail-to-Picatinny Adapter Rail. Now, when I bought this I did not see that there are two sizes, and the 13mm might be new, I just don't know.

One from 11mm Dovetail to 22mm Picatinny.

https://eaglevisioncam.com/shop/scope-mount/20mm-picatinny-to-11mm-weaver-adaptor-150mm/

Another from 13mm Dovetail to 22mm Picatinny.

https://eaglevisioncam.com/shop/scope-mount/bsa-150mm-dovetail-to-picatinny-weaver-13mm-to-22mm-rail-converter/

I checked my order, it says 11mm, not 13mm. So, maybe I got the wrong ones.... But then again, nobody's perfect, not even a warehouse worker.

Thanks for clarifying this for me. I'll make a notation in my Scope Mounting Table. 😊
