Thanks for that. For some reason I thought all three lenses were integrated to work at the same time, but had since been educated, and appreciate the reply too.

This picture here is a screen shot I took from my slow motion video with my iphone xs max in my digiscoping set up. Bird was about 70 yards away and was backed all the way off on my zoom, it’s crazy the video and pictures I can get with this set up.

What setup do you use? Sideshot? 

Another vote for Samsung S7. Bought mine for a couple hundred dollars, Unlocked & slight blemish on Home button. Camera is great & good slo-mo. I too refuse to spend as much for a phone as a home computer! It's sturdy & held up great. 

I would suggest the Motorola Moto G Power. Purchased on sale for $180 new this past Christmas. Carrier unlocked, nice screen, good features.

Nice camera(s) for other stuff - 1 macro camera, 1 standard focal length, 1 ultra-wide

Using this phone as my daily, and I have flung it a couple times and it's still doing great. Went from a Galaxy S7 to this and I'm not disappointed in the least.
