Pesting with the Marmot Militia barrel

Finally got the chance to take the MMHF barrel out to the field to stretch her legs. I was quite impressed with it's performance but not surprised since all I've heard about the MM barrels was all positive. Even the 104yd shot at a GS on top a fence with high winds was impressive. There was no spiraling and with one squirrel down as a bonus. I'm just glad to get the MRod22 shooting again.

"Smaug"Liked and subscribed; thanks.

Nice shooting; I love my Marauder too. (though mine's only a .177, so I won't take shots on animals past about 50 yards)

How much do the barrels cost? Are they hard to install, or pretty much just drop-ins?
Thanks They cost about $210 from their store and as easy to install as placing the order for a MMHF barrel :) Of course, you'll need to transfer the shroud mounts off your existing barrel. I believe the transfer port is the same for the 177 & 22 so all you'll need is this AWESOME barrel to upgrade your 177 and be effective out to 100yds...in the wind, as you saw in the video with the squirrel on top of the fence.

What I love about the Marauder is the capability to adjust the power as you need it.

"Dairyboy"Great shooting! Loved mine! Made quite a few long shots with it with many 50+yds. I do miss it but I couldn't pass up the deal on a different gun and needed to sell it to fund it.

As for the swap on a .22 is easy peasy. If you wanted to swap the .177 to .22 just the barrel and bolt are needed and your good to go!
Just to add, you'll need the 22cal bolt probe. Call Crosman to confirm the correct "Bolt Asy"
