A place where squirrels were seen and untouched was along the bank of the pond on the opposite side of my position. Finding a decent location to setup to ghost these ground squirrels are getting more challenging. The bottom of the dried up pond was still soft from the recent drainage. There is a dirt road on that side of the pond but the number of cars driving on that road prevented us from shooting in that direction. Little did the squirrels know, that road is now blocked off due to the owner trenching across the road. Machinery left on the road kept the squirrels skiddish from going out on the road but kept them scurrying along the bank next to some wood piles. Bwahaha!
