Any Pennsylvania airgunners?

Are there any members here in PA that has a nice collection of high end airguns or any higher end airguns for that matter?

I am really trying to get serious into airgunning but feel quite lonely being as I am the only person I know of around me who is hardcore into airguns.

I am thinking about pulling the trigger on an edgun r5 30 caliber super long with a nightforce atacr 7-35x56 f2 but would love to maybe shoot some other higher end airguns first and find some friends I can enjoy the hobby with as well.

I have a solid background in powder burners and long range stuff, but airguns and varmint hunting have always been my true passion.

Back in 2010 I worked with a company doing projectile designs and ballistics testing. I used a airforce condor 22 cal back then that I miss alot. I currently only have a Marauder 22 cal that does ok but leaves me wanting much more as I am quite the critic.

I have loads of awesome long range optics and gadgets I would love to share with some friends, could really do some fun stuff if I could just find people who were into it as much as me.

Feel free to pm me or text me at 5709332172 and wanna chat.

If you like good glass you can go down to Lost Creek Shoe Shop in Mifflintown area. They have everything, much more than cabelas by a mile. Run by Amish of all things, but they have a million dollar inventory, and they are fair.

I shoot indoor rifle league in Bald Eagle area, I guess centered around Mill Hall Pa. October to April on Tuesday nights. 6 teams in that area compete.

Lots of airgun shooters in S.E. (think Philadelphia area) Pa. and surrounding counties. Two clubs (Falls Township gun club & Delaware County Field and Stream ) that have field target and Silhouette programs. Since you mentioned that you go DOWN to Williamsport, we would be quite a ride for you but you would not be the farthest traveled for sure.

We have been shooting airgun silhouette and airgun field target in PA just about as long as anyone. As Doug mentioned both clubs have regular matches and both clubs have dedicated airgun only ranges however Falls is limited to .22 cal and smaller. The high power big bore stuff can be shot on the firearms ranges. Delaware County Field and Stream Assn, is south of Philadelphia and Fall Township Rifle and Pistol Assn. is north of Philadelphia. The Fall's website has our shoot dates posted. Delco just got their website back up so their dates may not be on the web yet.

Other clubs in PA have tried to run airgun programs but interest waned and when matches are poorly attended they get dropped.

Delaware county has a field target match this sunday/ I expect Doug will post more info.

From south central PA (Lebanon County) and i feel your discouragement of the lack of people into Airguns. I worked at a place with 1100 employees and not a one... not really anyway. I drive 2 hrs to the Poconos occasionally to shoot with the friend who introduced me to the joy of airguns and we'll shoot for 8 hrs. sometimes and not get bored. I have an AA S410 in 22 that is super accurate at 60 yds, nothing to reach out beyond 100 yet, but i will soon!

We are trying to form a friendly group of air gunners and new air gunners. It doesn't matter what air gun you own, what matters is that you enjoy the sport. I currently own ATN products (Nightvision) Range finders extra scopes, (PCP) Fx mk3 snipper (.22), Lcs sk19 (.25), Aspin Sinica (.25), Benjamin Armarda (.25) Sig semi-auto, (,177) & soon to order an fx impact x or a maverick. Like you guys the group is getting larger but can't get them to come to getter. Yes; We are trying to meet more people like us. (Air Gunners) for the following reasons.

I'm a people person and a Christian

I would like to see the sport gets more attention.

Soon I will have a special invitation to one of my properties, With lots of space to practice. (in the near future.)

Also, help each other in ammunition or air.

Sells, trade, save each other money on Items that we don't want or need, etc.

and anything we can come up as a group, even travel.

If you are selling anything please feel free to post it.

I also have 3 locations to meet, Philadelphia, Hazleton, Mahanoy Pa.

I visit a cabala's near Allentown very often maybe every other weekend.

this is only some proof of how serious I am on air guns. There are even more...

I welcome any replies...

Hey chapo2138,

Thanks for sharing this! I am planning on a Cabin-in-the-woods 23 days vacation, sometime in the next couple of weeks. Already reached out to several property managers to get an approval to use my Daystate RW ( wasn't sure what the laws are) and some approved. Would love come meet any friendly group of air gunners or get any recommendations/Info on one of location you've mentioned. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
