Pellets vs Slugs in FX Slug Liner A

I have recently seen some threads asking about slugs and pellets so I shot a couple of groups. Shot with an FX impact .22 700mm slug A liner.
The top right group is the FX Hybrid 22 grain 5 shots. The one to its immediate left is the 24.8 grain NSA SLUGS 5 shot group. The lower right are the JSB redesigned 5 shot group. These are the only groups I shot and they were shot off a stick at a lasered

60 yards. I am not primarily a paper shooter as my interest is in pesting and small game hunting. I did not use any holdover but aimed at the same spot for all three groups. As you can see all have almost the same poi. Hope this helps.

So, did you tune the gun for any of those projectiles? If you want results from the pellets or slugs you shoot you need to tune for the individual piece of lead you are throwing downrange or your results will likely be dismal. Although non of those is horrible my guess is you can cut the groups to less than half with a good harmonic tune.

Yes I have tuned it for the slugs, but I was only shooting off a stick which isn't as solid as a bench and bipod or bag. Just wanted to point out that the poi's are real close.

Yes, they are quite close in POI and group size as well. Way good results for three completely different types of projectiles and good shooting off of a stick.
