I also have the Red Wolf in .303 caliber. There are a couple of things you need to be aware of. First, the .30 cal DOES NOT come with a single shot tray. You can purchase one from SMW Engineering in the UK.
https://smwengineering.co.uk/collections/daystate/products/single-shot-tray-for-daystate-huntsman-airwolf-air-ranger-etc?variant=12184045387870 You will need to modify the tray to work in the Red Wolf. Not a big deal, you just need to file down the two side 'wings' about 0.5mm each. I used a file and some sand paper. Just keep test fitting it on the gun so you don't take off too much material.
Second, my 5 shot magazine was useless until I fixed the misalignment. Read the thread in PCP Airguns entitled Daystate Red Wolf HP .22 (it's now up to 6 pages and counting).
It really sucks when you receive a rifle with a useless magazine AND it doesn't come with a single shot tray. Go ahead and order your tray now so it will be there when your rifle arrives.
My Red Wolf shoots the 44.75 grain JSB's the best. No contest really. No other pellet even comes close. I tried them all. 50.15 JSB, 44.75 JSB, 50.15 Daystate Emperor, 46.30 FX Boss and the 44.75 Predator Polymag.
The Polymags group well and would be your best bet if you are going to hunt with it. I don't need to re-zero the scope when switching from the 44.75 JSB
I also have the Hawke sidewinder FFP 6-24×56 mil scope on mine. Great combination!
Hope this helps.
