PCP shipping question

I don’t know if you “have” to but every pcp I have ever bought has come with air, plenty of air.

Depends on who you ask. Pressurized anything on a plane isconsidered a problem. Yet I agree, I've had MANY pcp"s delivered with plenty of air pressure in the tank. But, for instance PA will only ship CO Carts ground....

(note - my pc wont wonky. If this is an extra post when I come back, I'll delete one)

Legally UPS/Fedex Ground Freight ONLY if holding any psi.

USPS NO psi. Also NO air pistols USPS.



That may not be at all how they generally ship but .

All the PCPs I've received came with air in them about 1000psi usps and ups. I imagine they went on a plain ride as they went from one side of the country to the other in 2-3days

SpySir has it right. Matter of fact it might be federal offense to mail a pressurized pressure-vessel.

I received a scba bottle with 4500psi air in it from a person I ordered from. I called and asked why he shipped it full. He said it doesn't matter to him. The tank wasn't even wrapped in bubble wrap . Just paper in a cardboard box. If the neck had been broken you can imagine the results. He was a firefighter and knew the dangers of high pressure. I hope people have better sense now. Probably not.

The PCP's I have purchased from AOA in the past were all fairly full, that was through UPS...
