PCP Pump to "Most Airguns" Adapter. Specifically FX Wildcat

Hey Everyone,
I recently purchased a FX Wildcat from Travels4fun and it will be coming in tomorrow. I've shelled out about 1800$ and have had some issues with getting 4 tins of JSB pellets and a Air venturi Foster female quick disconnect adapter from Pyramid Air :( : http://www.amazon.com/Air-Venturi-Foster-Female-Quick-Disconnect/dp/B00F0NSJKU. Do you guys think I'll be able to connect my incoming FX wildcat to a (also incoming) Hill pump without the Female adapter?? I didn't think it was necessary to post a thread about this but have changed my mind since forums can be a place to ask some questions. I've done decent research and the pyramid air specialist said that I would need it. However it is confusing since Travel's post said the Wildcat comes with a "brass fill adapter." So now im doubting what the pyramid air chat guy said. Can someone give me a clear answer to whether I will definitely have to wait for the adapter to come in or will I be able to make do without it?
Thanks and Sorry! :)Michael.

The fill probe has a 1/8" pipe thread fitting on one end I would be very surprised if your pump hose did not also have a 1/8" pipe thread at very most you may need a 1/8" coupler and they are very common item just make sure it is rated for the proper pressure. IMHO the foster fittings are only needed if you have more than one gun and they have different fill probs. I also have a Wildcat and got the foster fitting but I just have one gun so far so the quick change fitting would not have been necessary.

Bringing up an old thread here. Just curious as I am considering buying the FX Wildcat.

I have a Benjamin PCP pump, and an Air Venturi Carbon Fiber 90 Cu fill tank on the way. Both have the standard female Foster Quick Disconnect fittings.

Do I just unthread the the female Foster Quick Disconnect fittings and screw on the supplied 1/8" FX fill probe? With plumbers tape?
