PCP Or Crossbow? Different Slow Motion Video

I'm not sure the point you're trying to make, but if you're condoning the actions on this is video I'm going to have to strongly disagree with you.

A person's should not be governed solely by whether or not something is illegal.
In China they have something called the dog meat festival where they torture and kill thousands of dogs every year, and it's perfectly legal. How great would it be to have one of our Chinese respondents make a video of him lining up some golden retriever pups and start using them as targets.
I'm sorry but to just start blasting away at anything that moves is absolutely ridiculous, and it's my opinion that whoever made this video is a complete jackass.

It really says something about anyone that can't see It for what it is, a sad display of ignorant power.

In my response I was careful not to pass an opinion about the video or its contents; neither did I condone the shooter's actions. nor will I endorse indiscriminate shooting of wildlife. The latter includes such as may also be described as "legal game" but that may be shot by some and left to rot merely because it is legal to do so in the relevant jurisdiction . 

I do subscribe to pest control of introduced species which have been shown to be detrimental to the welfare and survival of native species and therefore the diversity of the indigenous animals and plants and or geography, for example, rabbits, Indian Mynas, feral cats, foxes and feral pigs in my country.
However, I am also mindful that there are still many places in the world where subsistence "hunting" is somewhat necessary to the survival of some family units and so would not pass arbitrary judgement on those less than fortunate folk. ( I doubt that someone with enough collateral to buy an expensive crossbow would fall into that category).

What I did do was to answer a question about a steel ball weight; indicate that the video author may be from a place where, as they wrote, the things were legally shot; and by way of information I implied that, if it was a country outside USA, the chances of your National symbol Bald eagle being shot are slim. I also gave information regarding our own 3 metre wingspan eagle and its unfortunate circumstance for which there seems no answer.

How others project their own thoughts into the words I write is of course their own prerogative. But to be clear on my perspective - no opinion was given in my previous response; nothing was condoned; and nothing was endorsed, nor was it subject to an outsider's value judgement.

PaulWIHarry, I hope you can see that you're including the comments about the bald eagle (which I used in example of how ridiculous the video is) and referring to the world as being a big place could and would be taken by me as a veiled attempt to challenge my opinion of the video.

After reading your post again I still can't help but feel were calling me out as being naive.

If you're saying that I am mistaken and none of this was implied then I apologize for the offence and for wasting your time.

Not sure what I can add Paul; But yes you are mistaken in attributing some "opinion" about the video contents to me as I offered no opinions; mistaken in thinking I was "condoning" anything in the video ; and now mistaken in thinking I had some "veiled" agenda that indicated you to be naive, or that challenged your "opinion". I simply offered accurate information, for what it was worth, which is the Forum's agenda. ... So I accept your apology, though none is needed; and if things are now clear it was not a waste of time as we have both now made our positions about wildlife clear at least in a general sense. ...
