PCP filling gauge, hose and fittings? Has anyone tried this unit?

Found this in the forum. 1/3 the price of name brand PCP filling units. Worried about quality of the unit.
Has anyone purchased this unit and used?

If you look hard enough, you can find these for as low as $30 or less on Aliexpress. The quality is ok but if you are unlucky you might get a faulty hose or a slight leak from one of the threads. Keep a look out for one with a true micro-bore hose rated to 630 bar. Some will claim to use this but supply an inferior product. Definitely worth taking a punt at this price and you can get a full refund if you're not happy.

I bought one.

The gauge was off 300psi low
The hose leaked
The bleed would not seal.

And it took 3 weeks to get it.

Other than that it was great ... ;^)

The worst part was all of the defects occurred over a couple of months.

The gauge was bad, the vendor sent another, 3 weeks, it was worse. Replaced it with one i had.

The hose leaks, replaced it with one I had.

The Bleed stopped sealing, took off my gauge and hose and tossed the rest in the garbage can.

It is a crap shoot. It might be OK, it might not, but I would bet against it working for the long haul.

These units are cheaper on Aliexpress than on Ebay. The one you want with the CGA-347 fitting will probably be more than $30. The DIN 300 fill stations cost less. Mine works fine but like some of the other posts, my gauge was off by 500 psi. You can replace the gauge cheap enough by going to Directmaterials.com website. The threads on the gauge are 1/8 NPT, so if you get a replacement gauge with a 1.5" face and 1/8 NPT thread it will cost less than $8 shipped. I've found their DuraChoice brand gauges to be extremely accurate and reliable. If anyone can benefit from this information, a +1 is appreciated.

So many things are made in China, with varying quality.

I have a Daystate 2 compressor and fill an omega 75 and two scuba tanks, one is an 80, the other is a 117.

Both scuba tanks can be filled to 3442, i fill them to 3200.

I had to buy a yoke adapter to fill the scuba tanks, one was 25 dollars, unknown material, the other was 50 dollars, stainless steel rate at 230 bar, i think.

I opted to pay 50 dollars for the stainless steel for safety sake, we are dealing with explosive pressures.
