PCP Airguns

"MJGoebel"I am thinking about a maximus as well. Then, I saw the new benjamin fortitude soon to be unleashed. My only concern is the fortitude is not reviewed yet and a 3000 lb fill. I'm trying to keep it simple so ill be using a hand pump.

3,000psi isn't bad, even with the Benjamin hand pump. I used the Benjamin pump on my Streamline before I bought a Hill pump, and getting up to 3k wasn't too bad, but that last 300psi was miserable.

I bought the Maximus starter kit for the pump and target. I was really surprise at power and accuracy of the Maximus. Installed a Zoe target scope 10x40-60 on it. Best small game gun around for between 20-60 yards.With that said, let not forget the trigger. Since you get what you pay for, obliviously, a competition trigger was not included. Up grade to trigger recommended or get use to dealing with long trigger pulls.p { margin-bottom: 0.1in; line-height: 120%; }

I love my Maximus. She's gonna be my squirrel gun. I've only shot it 3 times. Just have no time right now. I feel it's very accurate, even with the heavy trigger. I've gotten around 1" groups at 50yds, and it hits the smallest metal spinner targets at 57yds easily which is as far as the plinking range goes out at my range.
Put a UTG/Lreapers 3x12x40 AO Hunter scope on it. Since the picture I've replaced the bolt handle with one from Cothran . Another thing I like is the weight. Rifle is only 5 lbs without the scope.
