I don’t know of any place where you are, but I was in the same boat last year. I went to the Texas Air gun show and got to demo several rifles. The show this year is in June. Sorry that’s all the help I can be.

Thanks can’t make the Texas air gun show this year , golfer70 if you hear of any thing please post I will do the same . There has to be an air gun store that sells FX or Daystate some where within 200 miles or so?

I am new to the forum, I am also from Missouri. I’m interested in purchasing a pcp rifle for some pest control and small game hunting, without breaking the bank. Any recommendations or advice would help.

Smokey I have the Benjamin Maximus really good out to 50 yards 1/2” or less groups off bench and easy to hand pump but it’s a single shot it really depends on what you want to spend

Benjamin hand pump.mine only goes to 2000 psi so hand pumping is easy and I get about 20 to 25 good shots

Im across the Mississippi from St. Louis and there are no PCP places over here. Only thing we got is from Cabelas and Bass Pro and Wal Mart. I can't even find and air gun shooters in my area.

Another vote for the Maximus. Great pester, accurate, low maintenance, easy to fill, and they work. Mine shoots .22 Crosman Premier HP at 830 fps. Bass Pro carries them if you want to handle one.

It’s a good first Airgun. The trigger sucks but can be modified .now I want to up grade to FX Dreamline or wildcat or stream line .

I agree, it's a good starter gun. I have one in .22 caliber, it was my first PCP air rifle.....my first any kind of air rifle actually.
I got it to shoot pest birds at a dairy farm, and quickly realized that I was severely handicapped by it being a single-shot. The environment I was shooting in was extremely target rich, so it wasn't but a month if that, that I bought an FX Streamline 22. That's about the perfect gun for shooting pest birds.

Well put Bob Maximus is my first pcp to still love it But I’m ready to up grade trying to hold out for the Dreamline

I am thinking about a maximus as well. Then, I saw the new benjamin fortitude soon to be unleashed. My only concern is the fortitude is not reviewed yet and a 3000 lb fill. I'm trying to keep it simple so ill be using a hand pump.
