PayPal email scam

Unfortuneatly there is a lot of stuff like this going on. Never reply to any of these Emails. Go direct to the site and log on as you usually do and you will see that there is nothing wrong...

One of the things that bothers me the most is the phone calls that I get almost on a daily basis from the so called Windows Security Team, telling me that I have a problem with my computer...What A Joke!

Happy Holidays to All,

If you spend a few minutes of your time giving them the run around by pretending you are doing what they ask you to do. They will flag your number and quit calling it. And it is a fun way to get back at them.

If my e-mail program doesn't flag these as spam then I flag them. I NEVER respond to such nonsense as no legitimate organization sends this stuff out. BTW, most of the time I use the Epic Privacy Browser which prevents all organizations from adding trackers and cookies to my computer. It doesn't even keep a browsing history! Just by your reading bogus e-mails these organizations have added information to your computer. If I know they're friendly (such as Airgun Nation) then I use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, but that's for KNOWN and TRUSTED organizations only.

I did something similar to a phone scam asking me for my CC info so they could lower my rates. I won't bore you with the details but, I kept them on the phone as long as I possibly could before finally admitting that I would not ever be "confirming" my CC numbers. The guy got so pissed that he threatened to call me every day and signed off with a nice "F-U". I continued to do this for the next few weeks. Although by the end of it I would just put the phone down and walk away.
Well, the downside is that he put me on every call number they had. But, in the spirit of making lemonade out of lemons, I took that as an opportunity to block each and every one of those numbers! :D
No more phone calls.
