Thought I would share this find. If you ever used a Patch Worm or weed eater line to clean your airgun, you know how it is hard to feed the line through the baffles of some barrels. I used to use a regular straw in the end of a moderator that worked, but had to use several bar straws attached together (pic above) to help feed the line through a full shroud on my barrels. The bar straws worked but was a pain. So I bought an aquarium 3/16 rigid air tubing. The line slides into the end of the tubing which assists it to the crown of the barrel. This size works in .22 and larger calipers. With .177 I still need the straws stacked.

I still use a regular straw with my patch worm on my Impact. Would like to be able to use it on my Wildcat, but there isn't enough room in the breach of the Wildcat to fit the patch worm through especially when you are using the little black cleaning head and even less if you put a felt piece on the cleaning head ... just no room to operate in that small space. Guess I'll always have a need for the trusty ole Crown Saver. When I first started out with airguns I ordered a Napier cleaning kit with their "pull through" and after one swipe through the barrel I re-named it a "pull off" ... what a piece of junk. Still like the Napier Rifle Clean swipes though, incredibly absorbent and do a much better job of getting the gunk and grime out of a barrel.

I know this is an old post but it just solved my problem jamming up with my moderator on my Airforce condor ss.
