I’ve haven’t posted lately. I’ve been busy with grandkids, but!

I Finally passed 1000 this morning.

And in case you are wondering I eat everything I shoot. As you can tell, I don’t miss often and that includes squirrels and meals.

And I have not even got one!

You would think 23 pecan trees would attract many but never had even one here. Too many coyotes. Now raccoons that is a totally different story!

Hey brother T3PRanch ! We’ve doubled from 2 grands to 4. And I thought I had a squirrel problem!

Good to know you eat them. Squrrels are good eating. I hate how some people killed them and just toss them away and say other wild animals will feed on it. What a waste. If you don't want them, freeze them and ship it to me. I'll be glad to take it off your hands..better than left for dead.

If other wild animals eat them, it’s not a waste if they didn’t eat them that would be a waste

I dont eat pest squirrels from my property because a guy down the street puts poison out for them.

All of mine died precisely from lead poisoning. 18gr of jsb propelled through the brain. Delivered from between 45-60 yards. I prefer seeing and knowing they are down fast.

I am at 1865. It includes squirrels, starlings, English sparrows, collard doves, iguanas, pigeons, raccoons, crows, one very sick mangy fox, opossum, and not one Easter bunny or leprechaun.

Your neighbor is not doing anyone any favors. I would ask him to stop poisoning the wildlife!

I have had a discussion with him in the past and he seemed very unreceptive. Some of his property is fenced, some is not. At least after our discussion he agreed to keep the poison inside the fence to prevent any pets that get loose from coming into contact with it.

Yep! That’s the reason I purchased the wildcat. Poison is non-selective. I can understand him not wanting to forfeit his time, but if you enjoy airgunning and the time it takes, you get the satisfaction of adequate control and squirrel stew.

You are a Beast! That’s impressive. And yes, it’s best to stay away from endangered species like the illusive leprechaun. ; )
