Pard NV007a Focusing and Clarity Questions

I’d like to learn to better focus my Pard/scope combo for a clearer picture. Before attaching the Pard my scope’s usually focused nicely for regular shooting. The picture was a little dark viewing through the Pard so I turned the IR up to level 2 before taking this photo. I think it’s a little blurry because I moved the gun slightly while waiting for the aperture to close. I’d really like to get my pictures and video as clear as possible. Are there any digital features within the Pard unit that I should be looking at to better focus and sharpen up my pictures? I believe it was on 1.5x digital zoom. I’m not sure what my scope was set at. I’m thinking it was at 13x magnification. I was situated at approximately 50 yards away and that’s an NSA 10 meter paper target.

Advice would be appreciated. 
 
Use the 007 on low mag, if you want higher mag use the paard settings to increase. 

Ffp scopes aren't good with th 007 paards, sfp are. Better. 

When setting up an 007 point to the sky and focas to your eye first. 

High mag on scope equals poor performance, low mag on scope but increasing paard mag is better.

@Ezana4CE. are you using an external 850nm IR? Pard prefers the 850nm over the 940nm torch. I have a Pard007S and the image is quite dark with the built in IR. I use an external 850nm IR and level 1 of the build in IR. That seems to give me the best combo. Wait for my Coyote#4 (failed attempt) video coming out on the 24th of this month and you will see the Pard007S footages.

@max115 I don’t have an external torch. I wasn’t sure which one to pair with it. I think I had the integrated torch set to “2” when I took that photo. I know I turned the intensity up to 2 at some point. I wanted to get an external torch to conserve battery life to be able to run the Pard longer. Any suggestions?

@Corvid_hunter. I use this battery 3500mAh from https://www.orbtronic.com. They last all night with the IR torch. I initially bought them for my Pard008, but the length is longer so I ended up using them for my IR and they do fit in. I am currently using two IR 850nm light on my HW100T and the brightness is perfect to film the rats out to 50 yards. Watch my next video coming up, thanks.
