I wasn't offended by the get-up Rossi wore, but then I'm a child of the WWII generation and grew up playing "Army" so in my head I was right there with Rossi as he ran around with that replica rifle and shot stuff up. Once OldCorps explained his dismay at the situation I certainly understood the reasons for his strong negative reaction to the vid. In the end the best part of this thread has to be that Rossi responded with class and compassion without surrendering his own sense of self, and that OldCorps has accepted Rossi's offer of reconciliation and "kissed and made up" (eeeew!). Real people demonstrating grace and tolerance without betraying their individual consciences. A beautiful thing to behold.
