Thanks so much for posting this. I have heard of the Thomas before. I've got to go back and study this magnificent rifle some more.

Here's a link I found. Would appreciate any links that anyone can find out there!

Salticon
it is just like the other guns
i have got lucky and only gone thru 4 barrels
and at least 2 doz different batches of pellets looking for the one
if i decide to put the tins that don't shoot so well up for sale
i will have approx 150 tins of each 8.4 & 10.3 for a total over 300 tins not shooting good in the gun :(

Thought I would take it upon myself to represent Australia at this challenge, target was shot on the weekend, indoors at 13metres with front rest & rear bag, scope set on 30x mag, have to admit the concentration required had me buggered, pellets were a mix of H&N FTT's and Baracuda Match straight from the tin single loaded, can't remember when the barrel was last cleaned ( my bad ) and were shot on power level 1 on the Royale, averaging 585-590fps. Was surprised how inaccurate these pellets are at this velocity, at the higher velocity levels with this air rifle the Bara's are one hole performers at 25metres, looks like I will have to do some more testing, lol. Can some one tell me why every time I print one of these targets they are a different size & what would be the correct size?

G'day Mate, good to have an Aussie on board with us. I didn't have much luck with accuracy on the lower powers with my FX 400 in 22 cal, but looks like you are doing better than I was. Not sure why you're having trouble with the different size on the targets? That one is supposed to have 1/4" round killzone on 5/8" square.
Thanks for posting man.

Hey Strikey,
Glad you took some time to complete the challenge. As you have found out, The test is not necessarily difficult, but you must be focused and concentrate hard in order not to make a mistake. And one bad pellet can ruin your results. Your FX Royale 400 looks to be in fine condition....no wild shots...A Terrific Target that you posted....hope to see more from you so we can see how much you have improved!

I am getting ready for a Match with my air gun club this weekend and in the hills. Last month, I don;t know what my problem was...I just shot poorly and too quickly...not checking my flags like I was supposed to do , and my scores reflected my ignorance of the shooting field. This month I am aiming for a win against my Buddies(most of them are preparing for the Regional which is coming up soon.
Here's my 1st practice 100 shots...I am certain I will post another as the week progresses . These exercises help me to steady the body and my aim, and relaxes me to take the shot. The number of shots helps me feel like I am in a Match where everty shot counts.
There is room for Improvement on this target according to my standards, so I will try to post a better one in a few days

G'day Campfussel, thanks for the target sizes, I had one print out to that size so I will probably just copy it, interesting that your Royale .22 is not accurate at lower velocities also, I wonder if this is peculiar to the smooth twist barrels?

Manabeknives, there is a lot to be learnt from this little challenge so I will definitely be having another crack, we have a range day this Saturday so will see how I go outdoors. I keep looking at your targets and find myself wanting one of those RAW's but it will have to stay on the wishlist for now, not sure if they are available in Oz. Have fun with your mates this weekend and good luck at your Regional shoot.

So I shot this one in a 50 mph wind while on horseback………….Your right I am full of horse_______! Wind was a slight concern and target wobbling slightly (that's my story and I am sticking to it). This is by far the best I have ever done and not EVEN close to MR. Manabe. I will keep trying
