Congrats! 
My TOP advise would be to start a journal and jot down all of your factory settings (with pictures). One little twist of a set screw can have you puling your hair out. It's nice to have the OEM settings to go back to. Also, clean the barrel immediately. "Do not pass GO, do not collect $100" Clean it and document it.
I've also got a whole series on the Impact from when they first came the USA. You might find some useful info in them.
And, yes, read the manual too. :)

Congrats you been FAGD-ed! Can't believe they have questions on Bio-terrorism. Less than 10% of Dentist get the felllowship award and I think it's 2% get their Masters. You are in a very small group. You should be very proud of yourself!!!! I'm getting closer to my Master's shooting for 2020. Celebrated 30 years in Dentistry this May ........wow!

Ha! Thanks for the advice! Tom, Hawkeye and NMshooter- I remembered reading those words in other posts so my next order was a cleaning kit (patch worm) and 5 tins of pellets! Great videos by the way Tom, one of the reasons I went Fx. Downloaded the manual for the impact after I watched the videos... probably put too much thought into it. The advice on taking pics of settings is gold. Great idea.

"texagdds"So I passed a big fellowship exam and gave myself a present. After many months of pouring over the wisdom in this forum I ordered a compressor and pcp. Thanks to all who gave great advice. Ordered an Fx impact and an omega air charger compressor. Now I have to wait for a month to get it. Amazon has totally ruined my patience.

Someday when I save up my pennies and when my YongHeng craps out. I'm ordering that compressor. (Oh, and the omega 100 bottle)
