Opinion on Silencer / Moderator for an FX Wildcat .25..

I recently bought an FX Wildcat .25 from Airguns of Arizona (AoA). AIn't got a clue how loud it is compared to my Mrod .22 (the Wildcat hasn't arrived yet).

I understand that Pyramid Air won't even sell 'em. Don't know about AoA. You guys who shoot a .25 Wildcat - what is/are your thoughts on the need of a Silencer / Moderator?

Thanks,
Bobby

I have used the FX stackable. The gun is not bad to start with noise wise. Found using just the two ends of the stackable cut the noise level in half. You can put a NC or Huggett moderator on it and the impact of the pellet will be louder then the gun. Buy the NC directly from Neil and get the Huggett from Penchetta. They are great to work with. Good choice on the Neil Clague moderator for your WC25. It really does quiet it down.

UPDATE:
Here's what the NC moderator looks like on my WILDCAT 25 that I purchased from Neil back in February 2016. He made it a one solid piece to clear the fill housing. It's 8.5" total length including the extension which is 1.5". It made it quiet enough to keep the birds singing while ground squirrels are flopping around.
