Operator Error...!

I was shooting my Impact yesterday I had just reloaded the mag. and on the seventh shot the charging handle wouldn't close! I haven't shot this gun all that much, but it's been solid so far, well I wondered what kind of nightmare this was going to be, after decocking and checking the probe and screw I went inside and pulled the barrel, it didn't take long to figure out the problem, I had loaded a pellet backwards in the mag!

I tapped.it out with a cleaning rod and checked the breach oring, reinstalled the barrel, just lost some shooting time! Instead of wondering "what happened to the gun" I should have thought "what have I done now", I can still say I haven't had any issues with my five FX's!

I have seen much much worst... after fixing an impact in the morning ...in the afternoon...a call ... almost saying that my fix was crap ... (basically) I told him, relax and bring me your Impact ... after like 1 second I took it ..I realize pellets were in the barrel, took a rod...and I found 8 pellets inside and stucked and 2 o where like yours... (but it was my fault! jaja)

Very good question! As far as I can tell part of the skirt of the pellet was damaged by going into the transfer port, once the handle wouldn't close I didn't force it, same thing happened to my Bobcat .25, didn't load backward but "loaded several" on top of each other, one skirt was forced into the transfer port binding handle up, also when I tried to push them out the damaged skirt got into the oring groove, had a heck of a time with the Bobcat, Impact, it pushed right out, if in both cases if pellet/s would have loaded I would have shot them.

Thanks.

the transfer port on my guns are small so that might explain the lack of damage, also there are no o rings in the barrel.
