Open letter to dealers!

I know we are in different times right now, but it would be nice if dealers "kept their word". If you have a statement on your website which states, and I'm paraphrasing, "if an order is placed before 12pm and is in stock, it ships the same day, stick by that. We, the consumers, see this and we have expectations of that item being shipped. Again, I realize these are different times, but let's be serious This is not acceptable. Now, I am not going to call anyone out, but this is ridiculous. Either state on your website there are going to be delays, or expect us to find other businesses who will treat us will a modicum of respect.

I am so sick of un-kept promises and placing the blame on the current state of affairs. I work for a military contractor, and they have made NO excuses for delayed shipments. We have had a 95% on time shipment despite having 3 people (on average) missing from our line. We pulled up our big boy pants and get our job done. If more companies would stop whining and get their jobs done we wouldn't need to have negative reviews in this section. I say call out these companies (even if they are advertisers) and let's put out the positive too- Crosman, TKO and air universe have all shipped me products in a timely fashion when promised. I will not hold companies responsible for delays in transit as long as they ship when they promise. If you don't have something in stock, or can't ship when you promise, then tell us. We are not children, we will understand.
