OOPS !

Although I'm off grid in Baja I was fortunate that there were two doctors here to come look. I am fortunate that the pellet passed thru without hitting the bone and after 6 days the finger is healing well. Still very sensitive but time should heal it up nicely. Thanks for your concern.

John57, The first time I damaged that finger I was under my boat with a 7" disk on a 4" grinder and almost cut in off. That's why it doesn't work well and was sticking up when I tried to shoot it off this time :>) I've been on Keflex since it happened and so far no infection but still very sensitive.
Dan25, You're so right. Isn't that about the same round I shot in the army> M-14?

I'm happy to report that I'm healed with only some nerve damage. The nerves still may come back to close to normal. Now just a slight pain to touch. Didn't loose the nail.
