one of my favorite inexpensive PCPs

is the Gamo Urban, mine is in .22.

Give you the reasons why I think it is a Great first PCP,easy to fill with a hand pump, accurate ,has a BSA barrel, light and compact.

Multi-shot and get this, especially if you shoot left-handed,the bolt can be placed on either side of the action.

Yep in my opinion one would have to spent hundreds of $$$ more for a better PCP rifle.

It is a compact accurate PCP that can usually be had for well under $400.

Thing to remember is getting into PCPs does not have to be expensive.

i like affordable thIngs that work and offer real value .. its on the list .. not too many more guns i actually want, a co2 6 shooter with loadable shells and a replica semi auto is on the list to .. high end - not in the list .. to me thats just way overkill kindof like the giant truck with wheels that cost mote than my car .. yeah im sure it goes through mud better go find you some lol ..

Man, forget the urban! They make me pissed. I ordered one on Amazon two years ago for Black Friday, 199.99 , plus free shipping. Did the trigger screw mod, camo paint, drilled hole for probe, stuck a high end scope on and had a great time hunting with it. Well, decided to give to a friend for Christmas that year, my friend never uses it anymore. He sucks. And I would be an a hole if I were to ask for the rifle back. Can’t even buy it back. BS. Rant over, urban is still one of my favs, light, handles well, great barrel, trigger can be made dangerously light.

I really like the gamo urban, but price is a huge factor. At 199.99, it was a screaming deal for me. At 299.99, it’s still good, but that price point edges close to other great airguns, gauntlet version 2,marauder synthetic, Diana Skyhawk, fortitude (had a fortitude gen 2, still preferred the gamo urban). Sometimes, check the classified ads, check retail during Black Friday and holiday sales.
