Tuning One more solution to improve FX Impact trigger with pics

Being a bit trigger snob I decided to make some modifications to the Impact trigger which you can see in following pics.

After these modifications I can also adjust the spring strength behind the ball bearing.

This additional adjustment enables me to adjust the trigger to more precision towards a real target trigger.

Now the trigger weight of 2nd stage is actually adjustable.

I have also installed a lighter trigger return spring.

All this makes this trigger much better.

I hope the pics are quite self explanatory however I plan to make a YouTube video on this modification in coming days.

//www.w3.org/2000/svg%22%20viewBox=%220%200%20210%20140%22%3E%3C/svg%3EThere is such a thing as adjustable load ball detents

smallest one here would be 8mm OD thread. I’m sure that would work.

I’ve playing with the idea of using one to make a defined second stage in my ataman m2

trigger is ok, but something like a ball detent would define where second stage starts

I never saw something like this. Looks like it's already made to be used.

In fact I just tried to improve my Impact trigger and myself thought the idea.

It's good if we can find this thing ready made as it will cost much less as my machinist has to make all this on ordinary laith machine and one part at a time.

But I think 8mm OD thread will not work on Impact trigger.
