One hole group sitting, how common?

That, sir, is pretty darn good off-hand shooting! I could never pull that off. Competitive shooting may be in your immediate future.

P.S. I am an "expert", in my own mind only.

I FOR SURE am no expert . But no way I shoot a group like that from a sitting position !!! Great shooting man , and keep posting groups like that for us to aspire to !!!! Without a bench I'm useless , and mostly useless .With a Bench . Post a pic of the rifle too 

UHHH, that's REALLY a good group there sir.

VERY Uncommon. I did it recently from a bench at 25m. So far it has been a one time occurance.

the only air gun I can shoot only hole groups consistently is the raw bm500 I have on 177 at 25 meters.. this is from a bench.with wind flags out

sadly I have other high dollor air guns and cant do it like I can with the raw.

GREAT SHOOTING. That is why I got a magnet on a pole to pick up my shot gun hulls at the range.

I have done that maybe once or twice sitting at that range. I called it Luck "even a blind hog finds an acorn every once in awhile" in my case. I've done that several times off a rest but that was the gun I just pulled the trigger. Any way you look at it nice to have a gun that is capable of one hole.

I shot a quick group of five after reading this post a few hours ago. Seated, 25yd .177 11.5fpe. There were four pellet holes all touching. I'll try again in the morning when I'm fresher and post the results.

Great shooting as well. I'll do my best to mimic the feat.

That is a feat. From a bench i would struggle. Sitting would be impossible.

 I've seen guys talk about one hole groups and they are usually a ragged hole. THAT really is a one hole group. Could I do it. Not sitting for sure. Off a bench VERY unlikely. Stretch that out to 50 yards and show us a group. Or 100. They all should shoot pretty good at 25.



I've been playing with a Benjamin/sheriden pump up and while it's OK I can't get it to shoot much under an inch at 15 yards. I wanted it for pigeons in the barn so that I didn't damage the metal roof. I just ordered a HW 30 from AOA because I'm just not satisfied with the accuracy and this HW is the only thing I could find that doesn't shoot 900 FT per. AOA has such a good deal going I figured I'd give it a try. Gun, scope, mounts, moderator and shipping for $549. I don't need super accuracy but an honest inch at 25 would be nice.

I think I could do it sitting with a shooting stick and a barrel 75 feet long.
