One Giant leap for me and my mini-lathe

That's impressive for a mini - machine like that. Be careful though. I have a mini that lead to........convert this......

Still finding things to do to save money with my threading and turning capabilities.

Below is an adapter I purchased from DonnyFL to use on my Recluse .357 so I could attach the Emperor. It was the wrong thread to attach to the Recluse and Donny replaced it telling me to keep the one I had. I found it the other day and made an 1/2 - 20 UNF adapter to convert the DonnyFL adapter so I could fit the Emperor to guns such as my .257 Texan and all my .25's which have 1/2 - 20 UNF male threads. The Emperor is far more effective than the Shogun I was using on the Texan.

Lastly I made a 1/2-20 UNF thread protector out of "Nylatron" that looks much better on the gun than the stock thread protector also pictured. Please pardon the knurling on the Nylatron as it was a first attempt with my knurling tool!

For years I had a sherline CNC mill, I also have a small lathe... I spent a decade searching for and accumulating all of the miniature tooling I could, I no longer have my CNC mill, I still have my small lathe, it used to have a milling head on it, it's basically a mini "smithy"... Unfortunately my ex tossed the mill head and change gears in the dumpster... (OUCH)...

Anyhow... Since you gentleman are chatting about these things, I thought I might mention this and offer all of my very nice tooling up for a trade perhaps, I debate on trading or selling my lathe...

That's a mini quick change tool post holding a 1/4 tool and that's a tin of JSB .177s also the smallest Jacobs drill chuck on my lathe, a #0... Pardon the dust...

I know this isn't the classifieds, but the items I have are not for a normal sized machine shop... If this is not appropriate, kindly delete my post...

To the gentleman discussing hobby machining, if there's any interest, shoot me a PM I can describe a lot of what I have... I used precision collet chucks and collets for work holding as well as very small machinist vises etc, Jacobs, Kennametal, no junk...

And I can say I loved my Sherline CNC mill, I had the rotary table and all, I made and sold parts for myself and others in the R/C Helicopter hobby...
