I remove the barrel from my 25 caliber impact nickname Annie, cleaned it cleaned out the Shroud and the barrel assembliy put three o rings on my Barrel liner it had none secured with painters tape.

Now my groups are half what they were at 50 yards basically p9ellet in pellet all touching at least . so apparently the O-rings have something to do, I guess with harmonics. The way I understand it but it did make a difference

Agree, but as an added putting the orings in various places could have a plus affect also. Like the target rimfires a weighted tuner on the end of the barrel. Maybe 4 or 5 rather than 3. Maybe two close to the mussel and one in the center or other variations to chase a little more group size.

Agreed, however, if shooting "perfecrly" , it doesn't need any more. Not broken, don't fix!

I have a question, I have read where the O-rings will roll up while installing the liner, has anyone tried square rings instead

if you could find the right size that is

Just wrap a couple rounds of painters tape around the barrel to keep o rings in place

The title reminds me of a country tune from way back."On the other hand there's a golden band,to remind me of someone ,who would not understand". Thx for the tip to use painters tape. I'd like to try that with my Flashpup.
