Omega Supper Charger Question

I think that Super Charger is a Dodge with no AC or microwave!. LOL
KK4lz, if you look there are several threads talking about all the compressors. It appears that whatever compressor that they have , that is the one they like the best. This is a good thing, as they all seem to be doing well. The verdict is still out for the Chinese compressors. They have only been out a few years. Time will tell but for now there does not appear to be many complaints except for the cheaper Omega.

Got a 1995 Dodge 2500 4X4 with a Cummins with all Banks did offer for HP.Acts like it has a supper charger compared with our new 2015 GMC Denali 4X4 with a 5.3???
We did read everything that we could find on the Omega, Daystate and other compressors for the last month or two. Didn't like the idea of having another compressor to get high presser. If I every decide to retire we might be living at our vacation home more. Got a large air compressor in my shop at home but it's not airless. At our vacation home in the boat garage we do have a portable oilless compressor with 2 small tanks but I thanks it's too small.
Yesterday we did bite the bullet and order an Omega compressor and an Omega 75 tank from AoA. We decided to go with the Omega tank because we got $120 off when bought them together. We have a scuba tank that has to be tested and all the hardware to hookup to compressor and gun. It was going to cost almost as much as a new tank with discount. That should have me setup for while. Now the man can do more shooting, less pumping and resting before we can shoot.

I think that is a great deal especially since you didn't have the tank. It will be easy to trasnport from one place to another and it is110v so you can plug it in anywhere. AOA and others are able to service these things (and it is what Ted has as well). I am still on the fence with this but leaning towards the Daystate.
Best of luck with your new purchases,

Doc

I like the auto bleed and the water cooling on the Omega. It keeps the tank and pump cool. The Daystate you have to bleed and not sure how hot the tank gets. AoA carries the parts for the Omega and it does not look that hard to build. If you go with the Shoebox and an airless compressor you have as much or more in them as the Omega. We do not have anyone close by to fill my tanks.A friend gave me a 80 cu. ft. scuba tank. Has not been used for 25 plus years and will cost a lot to have tested and brought up to date.Plus hoses and reg.
