Omega Supercharger No Longer Popping Burst Discs - Back to full service

For all of you that were so kind and attempting to be helpful, many of which asked for follow-up here goes.

Raptor's rep Todd Brown since me a complete burst disc and check valve repair kit - to my door for $40. Received it today. My first discussion with him was on Sunday morning of the Labor Day weekend. So received the parts from Arizona in only four business days - excellent service as typical of Todd (especially for a guy with his back currently broken in four places).

Included in the kit was a fully assembled burst disc assembly that included the correct o-ring under the female host fitting. I screwed the new one in very carefully, hooked the output pressure fill line up to my tank, and per Scott Schneider's (Motorhead) suggestion, did not begin to crack the valve on my fill tank until the compressor line built up a pressure to what I knew was within a few hundred pounds of the tank's pressure.

It has run for about 90 minutes, completed the topping-off of both of my 75 cu ft tanks, and purred like a kitten.

I have no plausible explanation for why the problems started in the first place, why they would blow when the tank valve was opened with the compressor off, or why I couldn't get it to hold without a new assembly. The only plausible explanation could be some sort of distorting of the original assembly over time - but it sure isn't visible. In the end, I am just glad it appears to be fixed and I am very thankful for Todd's professional assistance and all of the input from this forum.

Have a great weekend!
