I bought a lot of JSB monsters when I got my .22 Pulsar HP since AOA said they used them to set up the gun and it liked them. Problem is I found out that they don't shoot well at all in the gun and are very inconsistent. Better with the SST but still I can't depend on them. The other day I bought a tin of Redesigned 25.39's and bingo, they're spot on. Problem is I'm stuck with about 15 tins of the old ones.
Just for the heck of it I tried them in my Crown. While they don't shoot as good as the JSB 18's and 16's, they group pretty well. I'm getting about 800 FPS on full power without adjusting the reg. and 36 FPE. Now I can justify buying a bunch of the Redesigned for the Pulsar, and use up the old ones in the Crown.
