Old brass sight pins 4 seating

Just thought I’d share if the thought hasn’t crossed your mind. Old archery sight pins can easily be rounded off nicely & set to any depth you need for seating spring guns or rotary clips.

I haven’t played much with my spring guns but the new CO2 Umarex Beretta 92FS 8 shot clips show a huge improvement when I seat the skirts fully instead of loosing power to overcome that edge of lead.

These pins can be found on old bows are all over. Very cheap if not free. Works great & locks down to where you set them. I have one preset for every one that’s hard to seat with forefinger or thumb.

A chronograph will tell you where you’re gaining an advantage. You only want the pellet seated to engage rifling. Not overly deep or you’ll loose speed.
