Ok KalibrGun Carbin (rifle) owners (chime in)

I have the Cricket bullpups in 22 and 25. Since the mechanism and barrels are identical I would assume the performance would be identical. Several fellow shooters have the carbines in 22 and their performance is similar to mine. The 25 provides 1 1/2 to 2 inch groups at 100 yards with the JSB 25.4 gr pellets. The newer 34 gr pellets appear to provide groups which are ca. 1/2 inch smaller at 100 yards. The 22 shoots nice tight one hole groups at 50 yards (less than 1/2 inch for 10 shots).

On the plus side the Cricket is relatively inexpensive, very accurate, and quiet. On the minus side the bullpup does not have a safety and the carbines safety is not well designed (most shooters remove it). The synthetic bullpup is also quite heavy and the magazine's insertion into the gun requires some practise.

I have the carbine in both .22 and .25. The .25 is a real shooter, the best one I have. With the new JSB heavy MK I sub-MOA at 100 is very doable in good conditions. The .22 is not the shooter the .25 is but 1/2" groups at 50 yd is what it does most of the time. TonyT is right, the safety sucks, I've taken it out on both of mine because it was difficult to get it OFF safe. I love the fact I can get 4 mags of shooting out of one fill. Billy, I'm only a couple hours away, maybe we can get together and you can check out my two.

I guess you are close... I checked mapquest and you are 2 hours and 6 minutes away....

Once I decide.... I may take you up on the offer.... The gun looks better to me everyday I look at reviews

This gun is amazing. Some don't like how you load the magazine and the safty is somewhat irregular but no complaints. I love shooting this gun!

Finally got the Cricket out to 75 yards. Wind was somewhat of a factor but finally got some groups worth posting.
The gun is amazingly accurate however my inexperience in playing the wind took some time to get consistent. I would have 3 good shots and then the wind would push it left or I would get a flyer, @#$%^. I shoot off my patio so sometimes I can’t feel the wind. really need to get some flags. Anyways, here are two groupings ( nickel and quarter) at 75 yards. Again, I just started shooting any type of rifle since March; these PCP’s are AMAZING!%C2%A0%C2%A0http://i.imgur.com/T7dSX5A.jpg%C2%A0http://i.imgur.com/T7dSX5A.jpg]

Billy,
Check out Varmintair hunting blog. There are quite a few write-ups on both the .22 and .25 Carbine. This site is probably the most information you can find on the Cricket Carbine. He hunts both ground squirrels and praire dogs with them both at 75+ yards. There is also a great you-tube review. The video put me over the edge to buy it. As I stated before, I could not be any happier. It quite a unique gun!
