What was this guy thinking! And he said he is giving up on the idea? All he needs to do is fill it with wd40. Duct tape and wd40 combined should easily stop a .25 pellet at point blank range.

That guy might be a moron and the other person doing the shooting appears to be from the same gene pool.
No I think he should start with something a little smaller say a .22 cal Long Rifle or perhaps .223 Remington.
That would probable end his fascination with bullet proof vests.

A little side note and pet peeve of mine is the improper use of Point Blank Range (PBR).
I shutter every time I hear it used on the news - someone being shot at PBR instead or extreme close range - and I am a bit surprised to hear it used this way on a gun forum.

Well Horizon – It appears to me that you took my Point Blank Range remark rather personally – which was not intended. It is of no burden on me if people use terms incorrectly. I simply made my comment to plant a seed to see if it might grow. I am glad to see it sprout and I hope that you now understand what Point Blank Range is.
