Last I heard....

He was going to start his own Forum and run it wide open, few rules, etc. There was a thread here with a link. I checked that link for about a month and it seems it never came to fruition. That was at least a couple of months ago.

His name still comes up every once in a while.

O lord. No, he was trying to get me to trade things above the value of what I was looking for (which he conveniently had) Too many red flags. I declined to deal with him and bought from retailer.

I seem to remember someone calling him out as a scammer. I have no idea if it is true or was true in that person's case but Odoyle pretty much disappeared after that . I enjoyed his posts and knowledge but he could be a bit much at times. 

I read that he's the person who ruined the Crosman discount for all AGN members. Rumor is he bought $70,000 of Crosman products using the discount code then resold it all at a marked-up price. Thanks a lot Yo Odoyle Tony Nakagawa. Jerk

Same story happened several years back on the Yellow Forum. 

Shows up, is a prolific poster, builds a reputation, then vanishes with people's money. Then shows up down the road with a new persona to start over. 

I tried to warn people to be sure they knew who they were actually dealing with while he was building up on here, but I was made out to be an asshole. 

Good luck, and don't say no one warned you.

Excellent news; I left because of this member, their persistent posting of tripe in every thread, and their general demeanor towards the membership here. Hoping it stays nice here again!

It felt like you were either pro Yo or Odoyle, or just like meh, why does this guy post 100 times a day and link stuff to buy?

He and i were going to swap Airwolf caliber breech, and barrel. He has mine, then he dropped communicating. Anyone else get stuck?

im sorry hes has your things ,does anyone know who he really is ,i thought there was a thread when he was in trouble with the ownership or moderators of this great forum ,,there was a statement related to his true identity ,,maybe you can get a name and adress from someone whos done past dealings with him PAT4S

I never knew him, but from the sounds of it I bet he spells "cool" with a "K"!!

I called him out in a post early on in his first incarnation as Yo. And I got in turn called out by many here. What makes AGN such an awesome place is the multitude of thoughts, ideas and impressions of many very different people. He was just too pervasive...

There are definitely some strong personalities and a very broad spectrum of life experience and airgun experience. I really enjoy it. 

I remember "Tony from Hi." back in the old Yellow Forum days. He got the boot there for his nefarious activities. Once a con-man, always a con-man. Warnings were given here, but largely scoffed at. He got in trouble here as "Yo" but reappeared as "Odyle", which should have been a Red Flag moment for everyone.

After Yo he made a brief appearance as “why” before he became Odoyle. I picked him off in my Kral Jumbo topic because his posting style was easy to recognize. I never had a beef with him but I always kept him at arms length. I did lose a lot of respect for all his cheerleaders though. There’s nothing wrong with sticking up for a fellow member but some of our guys seemed to swoon over him. We’re grown men for gods sake.

Lota people could see that from 10 miles away.... I will say he did a fairly decent job of maintaining anonymity, and providing plenty of ammo to combat any claims of wrongdoing on his part 

The guy single-handedly created the need for the "hide member" feature. 

I still would like to see a pic of even half of his claimed collection. My interest in seeing that picture is probably 50:50 "show me the proof" and "it'd be cool to see that many high-end airguns in one place." BUT with the way this all played out, I suspect nobody will ever see such an image.
