Putting the Nielsen .25 cal 26.8 gr slugs to the test in my short barrel Taipan Vet Shorty. These are the newly available slugs out of his high speed press. These are running at right about 820 fps (40 ft lbs). Shooting at 50 yrds with the ATN X sight pro... Very happy with their performance out of this rifle. May have found my go to hunting round in this gun. 2 unfortunate field mice wandered into my FOV during the testing tonight... and well... it just wasn't their day.
